The creation of bespoke ‘mini-planets’ in Walloon Brabant stems from a specific location and a desire to share. Based in Chaumont-Gistoux, I can develop a photographic project to capture a landscape, a building or a space that is meaningful to you. This page outlines this bespoke process, which is distinct from my selection of existing works.
Leaving a place that means something to you
A landscape, a garden, a building or a workplace can serve as the starting point for a commission. We begin by discussing your connection to the location and the intention behind the image. The transformation into a ‘mini-planet’ must serve the project, whilst leaving room for my perspective as the artist.

Defining the project before the shoot
Access to the site, the light, the season and the viewpoint all influence the outcome. It is helpful to specify the location, the desired timeframe and any constraints right from the first discussion. We can then explore the possibilities before confirming a proposal.

From photography to your own little planet
After taking the photograph, I work on the perspectives, lines and balance. The composition retains a memory of the place whilst giving it a different form. The result is not the automatic application of an effect: each image requires its own artistic choices.

Clarify the presentation and usage
Would you like a print for your home, a commission for your organisation, or an image for use in marketing materials? These requirements must be specified separately. The dimensions, finish and any usage rights will be set out in the proposal.
For a project intended for an organisation, my page on bespoke artwork for businesses explores this approach. If you’d prefer to choose from existing creations, discover the landscapes of Walloon Brabant depicted as mini-planets.
Preparing for our first exchange
Please let me know the location, the reason for your project, the intended use and your timetable. A few views of the site may help me to understand your idea. We can discuss the artistic feasibility and the steps involved, without obligation, before a detailed proposal is drawn up.
