This article retains the details of my announced participation in L’Esprit de l’Art, organised by TargetArt from 4 to 7 September 2025 at the Bastille Design Centre in Paris. Here you will find the artistic context and programme for this past edition. For upcoming events, please see my exhibition calendar. Separate from this exhibition, my gallery of art photographs of Paris offers a journey through my images of the city.

An artistic event in Paris celebrating connection and diversity

L’Esprit de l’Art is much more than just an exhibition

L’Esprit de l’Art is a contemporary art fair bringing together 44 artists from a variety of disciplines – painters, photographers, sculptors, visual artists and performance artists. It is an event conceived as an artistic crossroads, a space for exchange, discovery and dialogue between creators and the public.

TargetArt, known for its digital platform on a human scale, is taking a decisive step forward by organising its first physical event. The exhibition fully embodies the spirit of art, in all its vibrancy, diversity and profound humanity. Every work on display tells a story; every artist presents a sensitive universe, and it is in this diversity that the richness of the event lies.

My Imaginary Planets: a poetic vision of our world

In this temporary exhibition, I present large-format works and artistic creations from my series *Imaginary Planets*, a photographic collection that explores a poetic and visual imagination inspired by our Earth, while simultaneously reinventing it. These works often begin in a real place – a beach, a field, a solitary tree – yet they are transformed to offer the viewer an immersive, sometimes surreal, always evocative experience.

Each Imaginary Planet is an invitation to embark on an inner journey, to rediscover an essential connection between nature, light and emotion. My work forms part of a contemporary artistic practice that sits at the intersection of photography, visual storytelling and contemplation. It is available as a limited-edition fine art print, produced on premium media such as ChromaLuxe, ensuring faithful reproduction of colour and contrast.

For me, taking part in an art exhibition such as L’Esprit de l’Art is a way of sharing these worlds with a curious Parisian audience – whether art lovers or collectors – in an atmosphere that is both stimulating and convivial.

An iconic venue: the Bastille Design Centre in Paris

Housed in a carefully renovated former industrial workshop dating from 1880, the Bastille Design Centre is the ideal setting for this event. Spread over three floors bathed in natural light, the works engage in dialogue with one another, open themselves up to the public and find their place in a space conducive to both contemplation and exchange.

It is within this framework that the exhibition L’Esprit de l’Art will come to life, with a curatorial design that respects the unique qualities of each artist, whilst creating an overall sense of coherence. For that, too, is the spirit of art: bringing differences together and making them resonate as one.

A rich and inspiring programme of exhibitions

Beyond the current exhibition of works, L’Esprit de l’Art offers a vibrant and original programme. Theatrical readings, musical performances, book signings and talks on art leasing will punctuate the four days of the fair. It is an opportunity to immerse oneself in a truly creative atmosphere, to meet new people, to deepen one’s knowledge or simply to be surprised.

As a fine art photographer, I particularly look forward to these opportunities for exchange. Art, in my view, only comes into its own through encounter – the meeting of gazes, dialogue and shared emotion.

I invite you to come and experience it for yourselves, to live it from the inside, to discover what the artists, in all their diversity, have to offer you. Perhaps you will leave with a favourite piece, a work of art, or simply a moment of inspiration… In any case, you will have taken part in a unique artistic experience, in the Spirit of Art, at its most vibrant.
