Why look at the texture of the tea towel
Fine Art Torchon paper offers a matt, textured surface that enhances the viewing experience of the image. For my Imaginary Planets series, this material can complement an atmosphere, a sky or botanical details. I’ll explain what sets it apart from smooth paper and the points to consider before choosing a print.
Hahnemühle Torchon paper, 285 g/m², is a matt, textured paper with a grainy surface reminiscent of watercolour paper. It offers astonishing depth, exceptional durability and a finish that closely resembles the original artwork.
Canson Infinity paper comes in several textures (baryta, matt, satin, etc.) and yields photographic prints of remarkable precision, whether in black and white or in vibrant colours. These papers are designed for professional limited-edition photographic prints or for art exhibitions.
Pigment printing: checking the print quality
The quality of a print depends on the combination of inks, paper, mounting and display. I check the shades and details before approving the result; I then recommend following the laboratory’s storage instructions.
Each printed photograph is carefully checked before final approval. My aim is to offer every collector a work that will stand the test of time, both aesthetically and technically.

Premium finishes: from paper to framing
I offer a range of professional finishes to suit individual tastes and display spaces:
Mounting on a composite panel provides rigidity; it does not automatically eliminate glare. This depends on the paper and its protective coating. To ensure the texture of the Torchon paper remains visible, I am discussing the presentation with the laboratory and the framer.
These options are available on request for all sizes, from small formats to panoramic or XXL formats.
From the photograph to the printed work
Each photographic print arises from a rigorous process, from the (digital) capture to the fine art print. I collaborate with professional laboratories renowned for the quality of their prints and their adherence to conservation standards: Z Lab, Colorfields and ArtFactory, which are recognised leaders in the field.
Thanks to these partners, I can guarantee you museum-quality fine art prints, printed on matt, satin or baryta fine art paper, depending on the desired finish.

Choose the Torchon to suit your taste
A fine art print on Hahnemühle or Canson paper is more than a simple print: it is an original work, signed and numbered, supplied with a certificate. It is a considered choice for collectors of contemporary photography, art enthusiasts or anyone wishing to incorporate an artistic photograph into their home.
The choice of photographic paper and finish is essential to bringing a vision to life. Whether you prefer a textured matt finish, a baryta effect reminiscent of silver gelatin prints, or a smooth, glossy surface, every detail counts.
Discover the works available in fine art finishes
The Imaginary Planets are available in several professional finishes: Fine Art prints, ChromaLuxe, Diachrome or other media depending on the artwork. Each print is produced as a limited edition, signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
