My fine art photographs in red offer a colour-led entry into my world. Red catches my eye because of the way it alters a balance. Sometimes a single touch is enough to tip a composition; at other times, its more extensive presence organises the entire image. In my Imaginary Planets, I seek this dialogue between intensity, form and space.
This gallery brings together works in which I have incorporated the colour red. This shade may dominate the composition or appear only in subtle touches. The selection evolves alongside my creations and their associated colours. Click on a thumbnail to open the artwork’s details page and discover the printing options available.
Red as a point of tension
I do not reduce red to a symbol or an emotion. What matters to me is its place within the photograph. It may complement a green, stand out against a dark background or pass through a softer material. Follow the lines of the work: you will sometimes see that the colour leads the eye far beyond its own outline.
To take this exploration further, I’d like to share my approach to my artistic practice. You may also wish to read my reflections on fine art photography within an interior. The choice of a colour offers a starting point; your relationship with the work remains essential.

Before choosing a red photograph for your home, consider the placement of light and dark areas. A high-contrast image does not have the same presence as a softer composition. The size of the print and the viewing distance available can then help you refine your preference.
My display simulations and the page on formats and presentations will help you to explore your options further. Finally, if several works appeal to you, please tell me what you like about each one. I can then guide you in your choice, taking into account your space and your personal taste.
