Fine art photographs of flowers

In my artistic photographs of flowers, I take my cue from an encounter with the plant to open up another space. A petal, a stem or an entire bloom can become the centre of an Imaginary Planet. What captivates me is as much the colour as the movement of the plant and the role of light.

I have chosen six works here that draw the eye between flowers, stems and plant matter. This selection is not a botanical catalogue: it offers several ways of looking at a transformed floral presence. Each thumbnail opens the artwork’s details page.

From the Flower to the Inner Landscape

In *Rapeseed in Blue*, the yellow flower encounters a vast blue space. *The Flowered Heart* offers a denser presence, where the petals command the viewer’s gaze. In *Lifelines*, by contrast, the delicacy of the stems and small flowers creates a more ethereal image. These differences allow me to move from an almost graphic gesture to a rich and abundant composition.

Choose your floral art photographs

First, note what draws you in: a colour, a rhythm, a sense of space. A recognisable flower and a more abstract composition can evoke very different responses. How the artwork fits into your home will also depend on its size and the distance from which you view it.

To help you visualise the pieces, my installation simulations show various ways of displaying them indoors. You can then view the formats and media, as well as information on the limited-edition prints. Finally, if a piece catches your eye, I’d be delighted to discuss your choice with you.
