My Journey as a Photographer

As a Belgian artist photographer, my passion for photography has developed over time, while feeding on my observations of the world and the interactions between man and his environment. After the shots, I work mainly from my studio, where I put all my heart and know-how into each project. My artistic goal is to capture the subtle and universal beauty, often present in the details of everyday life, but which we do not always take the time to appreciate.

Through my "Imaginary Planets", I try to reinvent nature, I transfigure it to offer it a new dimension, a new existence. Each of my photographs and creations is an invitation to contemplate the beauty that surrounds us from another angle, to re-enchant our vision of the world.

The Pleasure of Creation

For me, the pleasure of creation is one of the essential drivers of my work as a photographer. Creating is above all an inestimable freedom, an escape where I can give free rein to my imagination. When I work on a photo, an image, I seek to express my emotions while playing with visual elements such as shadows, lines and textures. This process allows me to immerse myself in a space where everything becomes possible, where reality can be transformed and where every detail has its importance.

Today, being in tune with the world is a necessity for me as a photographer artist. Through my works, I try to reflect contemporary concerns, while remaining true to my own sensitivity. I feel deeply connected to environmental issues and the complex relationship we have with nature.

My "Imaginary Planets" are a way for me to reinvent natural landscapes, while highlighting the fragile and ephemeral beauty of our environment. This is reflected not only in the themes I address, but also in the materials and processes I use for my prints. I also carefully choose my production partners, favoring laboratories that share my ecological values. My prints are made in limited edition, with a constant concern for quality and respect for the environment. A Belgian Artist with Universal Reach

Even though I am deeply rooted in my Belgian roots, I want my works to have a universal reach. My work, although inspired by landscapes that are familiar to me, deals with timeless themes: nature, the place of man in the world, the relationship between reality and imagination.

Thanks to a dedicated mobile application (the one I use is Artivive), you can discover hidden details, animations or even additional information on the creative process of each work.

This immersive extension is an invitation to live a unique artistic experience, where reality and imagination meet in an innovative way. It allows me to add a new layer of narration to my "Imaginary Planets", making each exploration deeper and more personal. For me, this fusion between art and technology is a way to further awaken the senses and to propose a new form of interaction between the work and the viewer.
